- Every event is designed to sharpen musical skills while preparing students to be leaders of their peers in every aspect of life.
- Choral clinics are spread over three days; instrumental clinics span two days.
- Choral clinics are limited to students grades 9-12; instrumental clinics include advanced Junior High students.
- Professional clinicians instruct the participants on the selected music, integrating Scriptural applications and principles on musical technique into the sessions throughout each day.
- Pictures and audio samples from various All-State Choirs and All-State Bands are available for your viewing and listening.
Bible Quizzing
The jump-seat style competition is available for both Junior High and Senior High students each year. Schools arrange quiz meets with other schools while the season culminates with a statewide meet in the spring.
High School Civics Days
KCEA’s staff leads Senior High government students in a day-long “insider” view of Harrisburg’s activities.
- Students observe committee meetings, observe the House and Senate while in session, and observe how staff supports the process.
- Students can arrange to meet with their Representative and/or Senator.
- Students experience Government class in the real world, not just read about it in the textbook.

The Keystone Christian Honor Society exists to go beyond the secular honors programs to:
Scholarship Program
KCEA administers programs funded both through donors using the EITC/OSTC program and by non-EITC/OSTC donations. Either way, donations can be designated for students at one or more schools or students in KCEA’s state-wide pool of applicants.
Junior High and Senior High students are encouraged to hone their presentation skills before their peers and friends, individually and in groups.
- Students may enter categories in Academic Projects, Art, Crafts, Bible Preaching/Teaching, Music, and Speech.
- All entries are matched against written age-group appropriate standards to receive ratings of Honorable Mention, Meritorious, Excellent, and Superior.
- Affiliating ministries can access lists of music and speech pieces previously evaluated for use in KCEA Festivals through the Affiliate Portal located at the bottom of this page.
Keystone Christian Honor Society
The Keystone Christian Honor Society exists to go beyond the secular honors programs to:
- Recognize and promote scholarship,
- Stimulate a desire to render Christian service,
- Promote Christian leadership, and
- Develop Christian character and high personal standards.

KCEA organizes state-wide tournaments in boys soccer and girls volleyball in the fall, boys and girls basketball in the winter, and boys and girls cross country in the spring. The tournaments are open to schools of all sizes as schools seek to fulfill their mission in the lives of their enrolled students.
