DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
- We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Virgin Birth and sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
- We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost – they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
- We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe that affiliation in the KCEA shall be limited to Christian Schools and their personnel who will affirm without qualification the doctrinal position of the Association, and whose practicing ministries do not reflect associations in the ecumenical National Council of Churches, the World Council of Churches, or the Charismatic movement.
POSITION
Doctrine
Agreement in the historic orthodox tenets of the faith unites affiliating ministries.
Doctrine
Agreement in the historic orthodox tenets of the faith unites affiliating ministries.
- KCEA grounds its positions and policies in the very heart of biblical Christianity.
- Beyond their commitment to orthodox theology, affiliates exhibit variety in their doctrine, polity, and practice.
- While we all know that some doctrine is not core doctrine, we do not embrace the modern trends wherein "everyone" claims to be a Christian but can't explain even the basics and have little commitment.
